From Our Hearts To Yours!
These are certainly unprecedented and praying times. For many of us, we have never experienced our entire world faced with a challenge at the same time. This Corona Virus Pandemic is causing all of us to pause and consider our lives more carefully than before. It is a time where we reflect on what's really important in our lives such as our personal family, our friends and you our church family.
We miss opportunities to see your beautiful faces, give you hugs and share laughter face to face. Sunday's don't have the same excitement for us because we know we won't be able to meet you in the sanctuary, catch up on our week and praise and worship our God together. But this is only for a season and we believe God that this too shall pass!
While this pandemic is upon us, we will be using wisdom and following the directive of our Governor to not meet at this time. We think it's wise to follow the directives of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and practice the rule of social isolation to assist in slowing down the progress and spread of this virus. We will do our part as leaders of this church family and pray that you are doing your part as well. Because we love you, we have to make the sacrifice of not seeing you in person. For those members of our immediate church family, y'all know how to get us! But for those of you who are not our immediate church family, because you're reading this, you are our extended church family! We have added a "chat now" function that will allow you to reach out for prayer and support.
Finally, we're doing a new thing at daStreet! We will be streaming our Sunday morning words of encouragement from our social platforms. Make sure you like and/or follow these pages so you can be with us live via cyberspace. We will get through this! We shall be part of the remnant that watched God work and still remain to tell the story! So take comfort in the words of the hymn writer that penned these words, " Be not dismayed, whate'er betide, God will take care of you. Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you!
We Love To Love You!
